91²Ö¿âMuseum of Art offers programs in which adults and children can explore together, creating meaningful connections with works on view. Admission is free to all Family Programs. Registration may be required, as noted below.

Family Studio

Ages 5-10 and Accompanying Adult

Join us for a memorable morning of art and exploration at the 91²Ö¿âMuseum of Art! Family Studio engages young children and their favorite adult in fun, interactive experiences inspired by current exhibitions at 91²Ö¿âMuseum of Art. Each program includes a gallery experience and art activity.

Admission is FREE with registration. Registration opens one month prior to each event. Follow us on to be alerted when registration opens.

Family Studio occurs on the Second Saturday of each month:

June 13 | 10–11:30am

July 11 | 10–11:30am

August 8 | 10–11:30am

Book-Binding with Artist Stephanie Rodriguez

Tweens and Teens Workshops

June 13 and July 11 | 2pm

91²Ö¿âMuseum of Art educator Stephanie Rodriguez guides tweens and teens through the Japanese stab-binding technique to create their own handmade books. Inspired by Viewing Plum Blossoms by artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi on view in The Captivating Unknown: Charting Our Relationship with the Cosmos at 91²Ö¿âMuseum of Art.

Art Making at Home

Inspired by works from The 91²Ö¿âMuseum of Art collection, Art Making at Home features 50+ hands-on art experiences for the whole family. Led by museum professionals, each video explores works by a professional artist, then takes you through step by step instructions for creating a work of your own.
